Heart
Disease
High Blood Pressure,
& High Cholesterol
The Number 2
Killer
1500
people lost their lives yesterday to heart
disease and thousands more suffer from high
blood pressure or high cholesterol.
1500 more people will lose their lives today in spite of the
vast research and modern medicine. As a matter of fact, the two
biggest killers in the USA today are heart disease and cancer.
I, and many others know, that
high cholesterol and high blood pressure
are caused by a simple nutritional
deficiency.
Years
ago some hot shot medical researcher submitted an article on
heart disease that linked high cholesterol to people that were
dying of heart disease. He did not come up with a
natural cure for heart disease so it was
assumed that we must have been getting to much cholesterol in
our diet (he was right in a way). So the low fat craze was born
and heart disease and cancer have risen in spite of the typical
low fat diet of today. Heart disease is caused by a
lack of certain nutrients that support the structural health of
the circulatory system. This will
cause this beneficial substance found in every cell
in the body, to rise to high levels clogging arteries, causing
strokes and heart disease?
The low
fat diet craze created a huge market for vegetable oils instead
of coconut oil or olive oil. These oils are known as trans-fats
which trigger the liver to produce more cholesterol. Saturated
fats from animals can also trigger the production of
cholesterol. However, some people can eat animal fats and never
have a problem. Why?
Many
people think dietary cholesterol contributes to high
cholesterol. However, a study done in 1960 by the American
Cancer Society found that people who eat more than 5 eggs a
week had fewer heart attacks than those people that ate less
than 5 eggs a week. This seems to totally discredit the theory
of dietary cholesterol causing heart disease. Another study in
1970 found women could cut their risk of heart attacks 50 to
60% by eating nuts 5 or more times a week.
Collagen comprises 95%
of the bodies soft tissues, if it isn't bone, its made of
collagen. What happens with heart disease is, the collagen
matrix breaks down because the diet does not provide the
necessary ingredients for the body to make collagen. This
causes the arteries to become hard and no longer elastic. They
cannot stretch with the beating of the heart muscle and this
restriction causes the blood pressure to rise.
In the case of high cholesterol, the lack of collagen to
produce new arterial cells causes them to crack and leak blood.
The body goes into survival mode and the liver begins to
produce more cholesterol. The body then uses the cholesterol or
lipoprotein A to patch or coat the leaking arteries as plaque
to keep you from bleeding to death. High blood pressure will
eventually follow as the arteries become restricted if the
structure of the collagen matrix is not addressed.
This
process does take time because the body is very resilient and
will try to keep itself healthy. After 40 years or so it just
can't keep the circulatory system healthy without the proper
nutrition. That is all this is, heart disease, high blood
pressure, and high cholesterol are all caused by a nutritional
deficiency. All disease that is not caused by a virus is caused
by a nutritional deficiency, if you correct it, the body will
heal itself.
